One good place is the group SewItsForSale on Yahoo. It's best to create a Yahoo ID! (free), after which you can join that group. They do have rules, so be sure to review them before posting. Here is a link:
    https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/SewItsForSale/info

The Quilting Board here has a section for selling, but it also has rules including how many posts you need to have made on the forums before you can submit an ad. Here is a link to that section:

Be sure to read the "sticky" for the rules.

Click on home, then go to the member's only yard sale. There are restrictions, however. Here's a list to the rules on who can sell:

I've purchased a lot of my quilt books from eBay and Amazon.

Typically used books (even quilting ones) don't bring the seller a lot of money and are expensive to ship. Your best bet in my opinion would be to take them to your local quilting guild meeting where there are probably some interested buyers.

I recommend doing some price comparison research to find out which of your books have a good resale value. Search ABEbooks.com, Amazon, and Ebay and then decide which ones are worth the effort in selling them.

A search can be revealing both in finding high values and low values. Some books had only a small number published and are rare. Others seem to be common and have almost no value.

I use to sell on eBay but it really is garage prices. Even on this board (http://www.quiltingboard.com/items-s...a-t165381.html), most books are sold way below retail price.

Quilters Classifieds and Sew It's For Sale on Facebook has lots of quilting items such as books. You don't have the selling fees. However you need a pay pal account.

We have a local list serve that is updated constantly to sell items. It's sort of like a community bulletin board. The other option would be Craigslist, selling the whole lot. Stay safe with the craigslist option, I don't like strangers coming to my house. Maybe meet the buyers in a public place. Cash only.
