Thanks for the info on the area. I am hoping I can find someone at the conference to bum around with that night, so walking only a couple blocks to catch the bus should be okay.
From what I can tell, is is 12-15 miles (can't remember exactly) and figured that would be too costly for taxi. I signed up for their newsletter, so recieved those coupons. Thought I would wait and see if they have others in the next 2 weeks, as I am going to be there end of the month.

It's true Mall of America has no fabric stores. I enjoy shopping there with my 23yo dd because she can ***always*** find something to buy. Me by myself or with my elderly siblings, not so much.......
