I will be working the Rose Parade and will probably be doing some crocheting in the off moments. I just started crocheting and this is my second piece. First one was a scarf and this will be a scarf/shawl.

I am intrigued tho. I ran across a website that mentioned quilted curtains. I googled it and found lots of places that had descriptions. I have a couple of windows that would benefit from quilted curtains as they are drafty and the curtains were made for that purpose originally. sounded like fun and practicality.

I'll be working on my blocks for the batik block swap so that I can get them mailed out early. That is after we go to my Dad's to have a piece of cake with him on his bday.

I'll be sewing in the morning. I have 2 more blocks for the current fireworks quilt, to make. Then were going to shoot fireworks in the late afternoon and evening! Woo Hoo! We'll be seeing our fireworks buddies. We haven't seen them since our Fall Meeting in Nov. Fireworks are very neat to see and hear in Winter in cold temps.

Yes I am hoping to do some sewing on New Years Day. At the moment I am planning on finishing the International Round Robin piece that I currently have in my possession so it is ready to post out in a couple of weeks. I also need to make a start on a challenge piece which I need to finish by early February.

    Maybe1day :D

Yes, I'll be making some pot holders. I have them cut out and need to put them together.

New Years Day, nope, no sewing or quilting. Just had 2nd cataract surgery on Thursday and will need new glasses before I can sew much. Might cut out some luggage tags if my eye feels like it and get them set up to sew. Will be so glad to get new glasses so I can see again. When you have to put white paper behind your needle and hold a flashlight in front of your needle in order to thread it, it's time to take action! Happy New Year to all!
