If you have the heart yo-yo maker why don't you use that?

That you tube video was really poorly made....she has a bad angle, then makes a mistake, then I could not get it to proceed so I just closed it. I have done regular yoyo with the clover thingy and I really am pleased with how they come out......maybe next time I go to Joann's will check out the heart shape. Shouldn't be hard to do.

Just follow the directions that come with the Clover heart shaped yo yo maker. Not difficult at all. I used them as fall leaves on a wall hanging.

Cybrarian, sounds like you made Marcia Layton's wall hanging. I'm currently working on the Cottontail one since I started the fall one too late. Will finish that one before Fall 2014. I've also done the flamingos at the beach and the Christmas one. I did pick up the pattern for the 4th of July one recently.

This is the other tutorial for the Yo-Yo maker it is much more easily described with better camera usage and lighting. I am sure the original questioner has already learned how to use it, but in case someone else needs help here is a better tutorial:

    Hope this helps someone else.
