I have those piles too. Actually I am working on my DGD's quilt for her "Kawasaki green room". Hope to finish quilting it on the embroidery machine today and then bind it. Have several other "ideas" floating around in my head. My other DGD is supposed to be getting a "Hawaiian" quilt pillow if I can get the needle turn method down. But my arthritic fingers and wrist are not cooperating. I also want to make a quilt for my daughter and son-in-law's farm in the Poconos. I have lots of want to's.

I made a full/queen size quilt back in the summer called "crazy squares" for my good friend for Christmas and I need to get the binding and the label on it.

I'm with you, but last year I didn't make a thing! It's too much pressure and I don't enjoy doing anything under pressure. I feel so much better this year, knowing that I've "released" myself from all of this. And may I say "BAH HUMBUG!

I make pajama's every year for all the grands with 17 of them this year that is quite a chore but hopefully will have all the boys done today. Some of them are getting robes too--all done. One DGD wants new curtains for her room so had to add that to my list this week. Have 5 quilt tops just about done for them and have to do one for DS this year. Thankfully, DH is a woodworker and going to take care of the rest of the crew.

I'm making fun table mats for each of our four children's families. I have the fun part (the piecing) done and have purchased the backing etc. Now I have to finish.

The best man gifts I made one year was the microwave finger potholders. I made them for my co-workers and anyone who had sp. or boys said the men LOVED them. I'm going to make more this year. At least that is the plan.

I guess I'm ahead of the game. I had a health scare early on in the year and got really busy finishing my UFO's. Now I can go on a sewing retreat with a rested and clear mind.
I bought a new embroidery machine and made over 100 towel sets for our customers and for family. I can honestly say I'm sick of towels.

I cut out two projects last night, but they are for me. It is an old Indygo pattern called Ginger boys and I can't wait to start it. I collected homespuns for over a year and will sew it up at our group's annual project day on November 13th.
