You discover, while standing in line at the grocery store, that your thimble is still on your finger and you've done all your shopping with it there. (Yes, I have done this. More than once.)

Someone calls ..and your hubbie says "where do you think she is" (all my friends and family quilt or sew.except for a few and i amm still trying to persuade them) !!!!! LOL.. Or someone hollers from across the room("save sheila the scraps")

You might be a quilter if..........you get mad because you have to stop sewing to clean the house. I guess sometimes you have to do it....it never cleans itself.
