    And maryb119, we’re not just talking about machines and fabrics here, now that you mention it. What about all those rulers? Those hundreds of notions and bobbins and threads you have? (And face it, we’re ALL notions collectors, lol) Your quilting books and patterns? This actually has Me thinking about everything in my sewing room. What value would I put on everything? What percentage would I consider my sewing room to be in relation to my homeowners policy? Frankly, probably a whole lot more than I’d put on all the stuff in my kitchen!!

    ha! as far as the kitchen .... you and me both!!!

    Though ... if we really truly and accurately priced our whole contents,
    I think many of us would be totally surprised at the real value.
