I'm sorry. I didn't it to the post office in time. I got there right after they closed. It has been really hectic here. I am going to try to get them mailed tomorrow.

My son's high school has had 3 incidents in 2 days. They had a student that had a gun on school property, a student that pulled a knife out on the school bus and threatened two other students then on the next day 5 students were caught with a hatchet and ski masks in one of their cars. It was a really bad situation, but the worst of it was the school never even contacted parents. When it came on the news and when I called the school, they kept saying "the students were never in any danger" because each event happened either before or after school. How could they not have been in danger? I know the school had no control over what the students brought to the school, but I feel they really dropped the ball on communication with the parents.

Sorry for such a long post. I just wanted to let you all know what was going on.

Charlotte, So sorry to hear about your son's school and of course, parents worry. I'm a retired teacher and give thanks daily that I done my time. Loved it while I was teaching but the whole school/student atmosphere has changed in the last few years.
