Lynnie, yes I have a farm.65 acres. Also use of 45 acres that was my brother-in-laws. Pat, the fabric of the stripes of eggs and roosters is all one piece. Made the runner fast to put together. Oh my goodness I'm getting excited about Lynnie's cruise and I'm not even going and I'm afraid of the water.LOL.

Mary What a clever way to use that fabric. It looks like the middle is chicken wire. I used to have chickens when I was growing up. I did live in the city but it was sort of on the outskirts then. My uncle butchered them all and then I raised homing pigeons. I haven't gone in the water since I saw Jaws. Now I'd be more afraid of what I look like in a bathing suit.
    Karen I know that's all I need.

Mary that is a very pretty needle book with a pretty flower on top. I like the little flowers inside the pretty green, and the snaps are nice too. Your farm sounds nice. We have a lot of farms around here like that.

Karen I am glad you made it home safe and sound. Yes, make you some goodies too.

I love the Buckshot pincushion. I have one from a board member from a year or two ago, and have been using it a lot. She put a button on the top from one of her husband's older military jackets. That is the first time I had seen a pincushion like that.

That embroidered needle book is really pretty. A nice way of doing black and white. The inside is pretty too with the scissor fabric.

nhnative I sure hope your grand daughter is feeling better. Sounds like you are having fun at the LQS shop hops.

Lynnie it isn't long until your cruise. Hope all goes well for you and your husband while on the ship. No noroviruses or accidently getting pushed over board. Yikes! Just Kidding ya!! There was a program on tv the other night showing the cruise liner 'Queen Mary II ' about extreme ships.

We had a freeze last night were in the 20's. Today it is sunny and upper 50's. Have a great day everyone.

What a boring mush-mosh day. I went to get my hairs cut and the lady said to leave it alone till I come back. I wanted something easy to do.
Then I went to get stuffed cabbage, they didn't have any,not the hair cutters. Meat Farms, silly.
then I figured oh well...and got salted carmel frozen yogurt with peanut butter on top with carmel, $7.05 later, I came home. The cruise is coming up and they only have vanilla and chocolate icecream in softserve. Will take out all my new pink, white and aqua cloths for the cruise and pack it soon.
That chicken is sooo adorable. reminds me of my chicken quilt.
Such nice pc's and nc's coming in. Very lucky recipient's!!!
We're leaving at 10:30 for the train to the city. Should be in NYC about 11:30, get a cab across town to the west side of NYC to get the cruise ship. they let you on about 1 or so. Get on the ship, strip down to my bathing suit and lay out on the top deck or go in the whirlpool till our room is ready. get some munchies from the massive bar b q and think about all of you, my friends at Qb. I hope it doesn't snow again. I need some warm weather.

I hope that when you leave that it's warm enough for your bathing suit while you are in NY. It was 32 here when I left at 11 today. At least I didn't get snow today. Your frozen yogurt sound delightful. Have you ever had Gelato? There is one place here that has it and they just opened for the season. Mmmm.

Scrapper...how did the surgery go? I had it done about 2 yrs ago. I've had over 15 eye surgeries done, even got a new cornea. Found out i'll need a new one every 10 yrs or so.
Karen, how do they get away with an 18 hr. shift??? yuck.

Now I'm counting down days till the cruise. by this time next week, I should be out in the Atlantic about around Maryland or so. I'll be 3 hrs out, so the casino should be open now. Last time, Nov. 7, it was wickedly cold!!!! the whole cruise was cold. I just want warm.

Keep those great pics. coming everyone.
Oh Mary, how's the new baby doing in the barn??

Lauriejo you are right, she is the cutest little princess.

I have got to go for an eye appointment the last week of this month. I come in the house and start turning all the lights on, and that is during the day. lol...

I am looking forward to my pretty needle book. I have been checking mail a lot lately. I have also been looking over new pincushion patterns.
