Default TWIST 6 strips 2 1/2 in. to a baggie up to 10 baggies

createfourpaws You are right. I found the original post. thank you for pointing that out. I am going to cut strips this afternoon if I have enough WOW fabric. Most of my fabric is FQs.

Oooh yeah... and if anyone is interested in swapping batik 2.5" strips send me a note... then put 6 strips in a bag and send those with your blocks. I will swap those out as well, up to ten bags.

Hi, all! Someone asked about this block. It is a lemoyne star, done with Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler. The ruler was a little pricey but well worth the money. There was a quilt on the cover of Fons & Porter last year and I bought the ruler at Houston in October. The ruler is absolutely foolproof and makes sizes from 4 or 5 inches up to this 12.5 unfinished so is very versatile.

Strips are ready, I used two 2 1/2 inch rolls and some WOW cuts to make 60 strips. Now did anyone get 6 sets of swap blocks and 10 twist strip baggies in one letter sized envelop? I am going to sleep on that one. Maybe a legal size envelop and some extra return postage for tracibug?

Just remember, the envelope does not have to be flat, it just needs to close but be sure to tape it well. I use the padded envelopes and can get ALOT in them so there is no need to send extra postage over the $5.95.

4 sets done, 5th one cut, at sewing machine. will have them done to mail out hopefully tomorrow, along with the strips.

need to finish the binding on a customer t-shirt quilt also. Now only have to hand sew it down so I can deliver next weekend.

Have my 6 sets of blocks ready to mail.
Not sure about the strips...are they to be 6 strips alike in each package or 6 different strips in each package?
