I think with the number of particpants we have that shouldn't be a problem. That's the plan anyway!

Wow, you ladies are making some wonderful blocks. You are really on the ball and you still have 2 months until the mailing deadline.

Remember, when you're ready to mail them out, please pm me and I'll reply with my addy. You can send them at any time for those of you that like to clear out space and move on to the next project.

I bought, washed, and ironed my fabric this weekend! Oh, I also bought a pinking rotary blade and used it before washing the fabric, the fraying was almost non-existent!! I’ve only been quilting a little over a year and have decided to keep it simple and go with the Planned Patchhood block at http://www.quilterscache.com/P/Plann...hoodBlock.html If that goes well I’m looking at doing Comforts of Home at http://www.scrapquilts.com/0202_bom.html

I’m looking at all the awesome blocks some of you have posted and hope I do this swap justice. Thanks for having me

Hmmmm... maybe I should look into getting a pinking blade. Really annoying when you take a bunch of FQs out of the washer and then have to cut off all those strings that are winding them all up into a ball!

Definitely get one - I do this too. I pink the raw edge and take a little triangle off by the selvages. It works great.

    Great tip Angie! :D
