I am ready to go! My fabric has been washed and cut.

I must say... I am not a prewar her and it really changes things. So soft and so much static! Also it took waaaaayyyyy longer then it should have for me to figure out fat eighths. It’s been a super long day!

this fabric is actually much prettier then I remember and I think you will all do something lovely with it!

Good morning! Sign-ups are closed and we’ve got a full group! Woo hoo! I’ll post names by tomorrow and then send out an email with all the necessary info you'll need. My contact info will be in there and when to start sending me your F8s. In the meantime, please be washing your fabrics, removing selvages and cutting into 11x18 inch pieces. Be thinking about your color requests if you have any and put them inside your small baggies with your name clearly visible to me. Make it easy on my old eyes please!

I’ve opened the gallery for the first few photos of fabric.

I was all set to have a nice relaxing weekend playing with my stash to select fabric, but now I'm trying to book flights to Florida for the weekend instead. It's been a real rollercoaster ride with my FIL (DH is an only child) since before Christmas, and just when we thought he was going to turn the corner, he fell and hit his head, and now they give him only a few days.

After the last swap, I'd decided to send fabric from my collection of small floral prints. All my fabric is already washed - the hard part is going to be finding them. I just put fabric on shelves when I un-packed so there isn't much organization yet.

Here is how I pack my sandwich bags. First I put a sticker with my QB name on bag.
Iron and fold F8 so it will fit tight into bag.
I added a note with my color request.
I added a square of my sashing (does not need to be used) so you understand why I want the darker colors and not the background used.
Add one more bag with your name on it with $$ for return shipping
Place 20 flat sandwich bags in quart size bag. (make sure your QB name, mailing name and address on outside of this bag. )
