Juliasb, please send me your info by email. Look near the end of the first post for what I require. Even if you’ve been in a recent boom, you’ll need to sign up each time by email with all your current info. Thank you!

Hello Boomers - so excited to be back in the game. I signed in for the three month, although I am usually done within two. I have been slow in sewing lately - my 92yo mother is with us and is constantly interrupting. And we all know what happens when that happens! So i will get my large projects out of the way and will be able to take one block at a time.
For all the newbies - welcome. It can be intimidating. But you only need to do one 12.5" block with each fabric. It can be basic or complicated. I like trying different patterns and will test it on my own F8 piece to double check I will have enough fabric. This will give me more blocks for my own quilt.
Be creative - as you look at some of the past booms you may just get ideas on how crazy we all can get. Think outside of the box is also fun.
Take the plunge and have fun - meeting us the best thing you will do!

Oh.. I need to go see if I have fabric here that I can use for my F8s.. generally speaking, I need around 3 yards of fabric, correct? Either all one fabric or a mish mash, eh? Once I peruse my fabric boxes here, I will decide if i wo=ish to join in.. gotta see if my machine works too..... it's been forever since i used it.

Bluelady! Glad you’re considering joining us. Yes, 3 yards will usually do it. Pieces need to be 18x11 after washing your yardage and removing selvages. It’ll depend upon shrinkage. You can also use more than one fabric. Let me know if you want to join by emailing all the info requested at the end of post one. Thanks. Hope you join us again.

Good morning! Reminder to everyone who has expressed interest in Boom 24, I need your email with the info requested at the end of the first post. Please don't leave a post here and fail to send the email! Thank you!

We're expecting several days of strong rain again, this after Satuirday's snow that was gone on Sunday. I don't think the ground can hold much more water so flooding may become an issue locally. Be safe if you're in the storm zone this week and try to stay dry and warm!

My DD sent me pictures of the snow in Atlanta this weekend.

I'm still kicking around if I want to sign up or not. Going to take the rest of today and tomorrow off and try to get the cleaning and painting done at the old place so it can go on the market. I've not done any sewing since I started packing back in December, and I'm out of the habit now and need motivation to get started again.

What better motivation than a swap?! And a fun one, at that.... You'd have 2 or 3 months to get it done. Your blocks are always amazing! Hope you decide to join us.

Anyone know what their color requests will be? I am doing a shop hop the next few days and would like to get some colors I will need.
