Well, I do not know where it is published. The first time I saw it posted as a picture, it was titled 19 Windows which I never found anywhere. Some one commented that the correct name was Peaceful Home, so I started using that although again, I did not find it online. Some one else gave a third name which I can't remember completely, but it also started with Peaceful (next word). Here is how I make the block. This has been posted before on quiltingboard, but I don't remember where. I cut the pieces oversize and then trim them down. Notes are on the picture, but feel free to ask me if you can't understand what I have written.

Bibliostone - thanks for the directions - I love the little "fat" star that appears in the fabric.

Biblistone, I that star by the name Star drop. I purchased it about a year ago from Thepatternbasket.com https://www.thepatternbasket.com/pro...e/star-drops-1

    Default Bummer!

My right foot is in a "boot" for at least a week... Woke up with excruciating pain in the foot, as tho it had been smashed. Xrays showed nothing, so an MRI is probably coming next week. I suspect a stress fracture. So... how to sew with a boot on my foot? I have the boom blocks to make, and also the final round on the Round Robin quilt. Maybe there's a way I can press the foot controller with this boot on?

You can also do what I do and that is use my other foot. It takes a bit of getting use to but I have it mastered now.

SewBiz - oh no! make sure you put shoes on the left foot the same height as the boot.
Does your machine have a knee attachment? I always go back to that as it is what I learned on.

I took a break from blocks to finish up the round robin. And so many beautiful blocks were made while I was away! I have 7 more to go and will get them underway. I did go the weebly page and noticed I have to catch up with my posting so will do that too!
Made a pot of Hungarian unrolled cabbage soup that DH and mom asked if we could have it again tonight instead of me freezing it! I guess it came out good.
