    Last night I pressed all the blocks and that *(%$** iron spat out black stuff (good thing I tested it on a piece of scrap fabric). But now I just don't trust it .....and if you recall, the blocks are white.

    Also started on the separator rows and realized that the greenish fabric I had picked did not work. Had too much cool blue in it. So I rifled through all my greens - - - no success. Changed to a mottled blue in the perfect shade. I am hopeful (arr arr) that I will continue to git'r done.

    Finished the center last night and DH was so nice and took pictures. I found the perfect first border fabric yesterday: Blue stripes with a bit of metallic in it. It is dark enough to pop against the dots. Gotta wash it tonight.

    In case you are "missing" your hands: 4 are kept in reserve to go in the corners (2 pink and 2 green).

    Hope you like (I'm pleased as punch).
