Are we supposed to put a hanging pocket on the back of these, or is the display method to be left up to the recipient? Also, do we mail as soon as they are done, or do we wait til closer to the end of January, so people don't feel like they're behind when they aren't? (Some of us are just freakishly early to everything. )

A hanging pocket is entirely up to the quilt maker. You can mail your quilt as you finish. It's kind of fun to see them all month long. Or if you'd like to wait until closer to the deadline, that's fine too. We'll just all moan and groan! LOL!

As long as the doll quilt swap is popular, I'll continue hosting. I think I have the most fun!

Happy quilting ladies! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this month!

I got some fabric for my quilt the other day...just one print and I'm hoping to work off that. But I think it's a really good representation of one of the things my state is known for! now where do I find the time to find the rest and start quilting???? darn you all for having started already.....LOL

Rymer, don't worry...I have my fabric...well...I did, but now I'm doing something totally different than I had originally planned...so its back to the drawing board so to speak. I haven't even begun THAT journey....so it will be awhile....you'll have company.

I have no fabric yet but I do have my design all worked out on my graph paper! I am just trying to decide what to do on the back! I am going to make something Canadian for ReRe! I hope it turns out in real life as it looks in my head!!!
