Those are beautiful, givio! I'm loving those scrappy green points.

Billi, I too like SBG's layout and plan to use it on one of my quilts. Your quilt is going to look awesome, love the blue and white!

Givio your stars are looking great, I'm looking forward to seeing your entire quilt finished!

These are lovely will the next background also be a yellow? Be sure to share a picture when they are all laid out I'm excited to see it all together.

Bilii love that layout. I already have many triangles but mine are all colors. I am going to see if that many colorful triangle blocks would work.

Givio, your stars are turning out great. I also love the green that you are using.

Bonnie, I am just starting my 9-patches. I will send pictures when I have enough finished. Love the idea of theme
blocks. I probably have to purchase more fabric but would be so much fun with hubby. He picks most my fabric out. He has such a good eye for color than me.

Billi, No, not more yellow ones today. I made some blue ones today for a change. That zebra one is such a cute one--it's one of my favorites!
sunrise450, Lucky you, for having a husband who likes to share your hobby. I do show my blocks to my husband. He critiques them, but not always negatively. lol He particularly liked the zebra one. :-)

I would do a side swap to make sure I get a sloth block...… All the blocks shown have been great. I really like the lay out that you are both doing. I saved up my blocks for the last one since I didn't do the max number of bags.

I have 20 blocks done. Hopefully do another 10 today, before I get my grandson. Love babysitting. Momma needs to unpack some more boxes at the new house without the 2yr helping

quilt addict, how many did you get? Even with 30 9patches you can make a bed sized quilt if you add to them with the setting. These star blocks are 10". I got the 80 swapped ones, but I also made extras for myself of the ones that I sent to be swapped, plus I can use the ones I kept that 'didn't make the grade.' I'm vacillating between using 63 and 81 with this quilt-- either 9 x 7 rows or 9 x 9 rows. I'll have at least two or maybe three more quilt tops to sew after this swap!
