I don't know if you plan to try to put plants in them after you make them, if so it is important to seal them or the water, soil and mineral will seep through the clay and destroy the designs.

Received a wonderful swap from Starshine. She sent me Day of the Dead fabric for my collection, some black and white fabric that had skulls and white tigers that is really cool, a handmade St. Patricks Day pin cushion, green pencil, some lucky gold Irish coins which I will have in my pocket for tommorows guild meeting, some sugar free chocolate. Thank you so much for a wonderful swap pkg!

Glad you like it, Sandy. I had fun making it up. The book is good. I got it from another sp a few months ago.

Hearing this reminds me of when I was 4 years old in Germany. I had gotten up in the middle of the night and the blue food color was left out where I could get to it. The next morning my parents were shocked to see our German Shepard dyed blue for Easter.

Vicki thanks for the tip. I don't know if I would have thought about that when I reached that point or not.
