I received a fantastic box from MSCUPID804 -- just check out all the goodies...scraps! (my personal favorite), fat quarters (cut into right after picture taken), great pattern, goodies for the dogs (who are extremely appreciative), goodies for ME (and I've learned how to get chocolate and peanut butter crumbs out of fabric and keyboards), and a beautiful square which will be used in the quilt I'm making from my QuiltingBee Monthly Block Swap. (A great surprise which showed she did some research) She also included a gift card for JoAnn's (YAY!!!) which I will enjoy using on my birthday when I visit Rochester, NY, where they have a big store (none in my locale, so that makes it extra special). Thanks so much, Teresa, for making me feel special -- and for the extra birthday card you enclosed. I will be thinking of you while shopping.

My SP package went out today. Just got back from dropping it off. It has quite a ways to go, so not sure when it will arrive. Later today or in the morning I will check the tracking. It will be fun to see when it gets there. I sure hope she likes what I sent. Trying to think of a clue, oh, I know. I tried to find a pc of Kona fabric for her, but there is no LQS near me and I didn't get to a shop over the weekend. Well, I did, but got so caught up looking that I forgot about the Kona. I'm a BBBaaaaaaddddd girl!!

I've been in my annual May funk. Gearing up for the 25th year when Mother's Day is ignored followed by the 25th year when my birthday, two weeks later is ignored.

Oh boy! I just realized I should be celebrating! It's the Silver Anniversary of being ignored! Wheeeee!

Crawling back into my hole. Let me know when it's June.

This is exactly how I feel K....since losing my mother this past Sept, I really don't care about Mother's Day this year because I won't have my mother here to celebrate with. It's really going to be hard to get thru this one, so move over and share that cave!

Mailed my package out on the 8th. Sorry it was late, was out of state for a funeral. Anyway my package is crossing lots of water and got to a country that is famous for cheese, canals, wooden shoes, chocolate, tulips, coffee and lots of other things.
