Just a quickie reminder, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware that if you send your blocks in anything but a card envelope or business envelope, your recipient will be charged extra postage. When in doubt, ADD ANOTHER STAMP to be "safe."

    Thank you!

I have to ditto dettonlizas remarks. The baggies/plastic wrap saves the blocks from not only weather conditions but the US Postal Service as well, ie; totally shredded envelope received with plastic wrapped block wonderfully intact.

And be sure to put your address in with the block as well, one lady in one of my swaps got her package shredded through the postal service and so far has received packages from 3 different states. I tape all the seams on my envelopes in hopes they will arrive safely.

ALSO....if you write "non-machineable" in the lower left corner and add 20 cents to your regular postage, they will not put it through any equipment. For a 12" block folded evenly across a #10 envelope it is 64 cents to mail it non machinable.
I do this so often that I actually had a non machinable stamp made from vista print =)

Thanks for the info. I had no idea about the 'non-machineable' bit.

YOU'RE WELCOME!! and if you are sending 2 blocks....it's normally 61 cents and if you add the 20 cents for Non-Machinable it is 81 cents ;) I've tried to get this down to an art.
