AKAngel- I received your PM. You'll get one back soon, along with a Jan. partner as well. I'm slow, especially when I have to copy and paste the spaces! lol!

I can't wait to find out who my partner is! I am really excited to be a part of this swap!

I hope I can get my machine fixed over my Christmas break!

    Must be the heart one????
I was in a BOM and we made variations of log cabins all year long.

I don't know if it has an official name. If I remember correctly - the owner of the shop said she made the pattern (or adapted it). It is titled "Heart Log Cabin" on our directions. Sadly the shop went out of business when the owner became ill and was unable to work.

The heart is made of 16 little log cabins. 3 1/2 inch square. 2 all whites, 6 all reds, 8 mixed. Then it is how you place and rotate to make the heart. I used the floral fabric instead of reds for Sulabug.

I received a December block from my side partner Joyce and I must say it is as stunning as the first one was. However, the most touching and beautiful thing I received was the embroidered ornaments Joyce made for my daughter and I. My daughter saw them and exclaimed "mommy those are just so beautiful." She then picked the tree for herself and placed it on our tree and told me "I put it on the front so everyone who walks in can see it."
This brought tears to my eyes-thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity!
    Hugs
