Ooooooo, very nice. I used to make shorts and costumes for my son when he was small. I have nephews...no little girls. Somedays I go into pink and bows withdrawal!

It has a lot of pretty stitches that I could use on the girls clothing. The coolest feature is the thread cutting, I hate wasting all that thread.

OK, it's D-day! We have 2 people in one group and one in the other who hasn't said they're ready to ship yet. Unfortunately I'm one of the 2. But, I'll be working late into the night to get mine quilted and expect to finish tomorrow myself.

If you posted in the thread here that you were ready to ship, but didn't email me, please do so I haven't missed anyone. So far, things have gone pretty smoothly with this swap, and I've been really impressed with the communication that we've had, both here and the emails I've received. I want to thank everyone for being good swappers.

OK, so other than the wall hangings, what ideas does everyone have for the next swap? I know there was another suggestion a couple weeks ago but I can't find it now.

Did I miss the info on the next swap? What's it about?

Nope, I'm still taking suggestions for it though. Thoughts?

I signed up for the pincushion/ needlecase swap. You can make one or the other or both. We have quite a few international quilters joined I believe. It's starts next month then you ship May 1st.

I'm putting the finishing touches on mine today and will have it ready to go tomorrow.

The 3 people who asked for bedroom items are clear to ship. Well, 2 already have and the other one will go out tomorrow. That just leaves 2 of us not finished, but all is well. Mine will be ready to ship before bedtime & from the last contact with the other person, I'm guessing she should be done now too, but I'll touch base to be sure.

So, since there have been no other suggestions, who's up for a wall hanging swap? I'm thinking open by requested colors would be best, so we can get something we can love year round. I'll get started on getting it written up & OK'd & we'll get the sign ups underway. How's 6-8 weeks for completion for everyone? Any other requests for it?

sounds good. there is a monthly wall hanging swap already on the board which is why I suggested a welcome sign wall hanging but regular is fine...just know by the time you post, the time its finished people might need to think on the season they want or the colors right? I think that might be added to your listing.. this should be in and one by x date so be sure to send in requests. Also I am hereby requesting partners. Not secret friends just my two bits.

Well, if there is a monthly wall hanging swap, then I'm honestly not sure another one would be approved. I don't see any ugly fabric swaps right now. Or...we could do an animal themed home decor swap. You could use either an animal print fabric or make blocks, etc into animal shapes. Then Elisabrat can get her chickens or her owls, lol. I think maybe sticking with the home decor theme is good. Elisabrat, you could ask for a welcome wall hanging from it?

Whatever we do next, it'll be partners, I said that before. Secret is fun, but swapping up is too!

I like the home décor theme, leaves it to everyone's own preference. If you're going to assign partners you can ask for a certain thing you'd like and if your partner can make it all's good, if she can't then just have a second choice, or give her 2 ideas and be surprised at what you get. Only an opinion here, be watching for what you decide.
