    A non-secret santa question...

When (if) you travel, do you pick up souvenirs? If so, what do you look for?

    I do:

postcards--I don't journal, so I write the things we did that day on a postcard and mail it home. I've managed to stick with it, so my postcard book becomes my journal for trips.

magnets-- they take up little room and I see them on the fridge daily

souvenir pennies/coins-- I love finding a machine and always keep change on hand to use one

Christmas ornament-- not always, but I'll get one if I find one I really like

I got my Secret Santa box in the mail and I am going crazy trying to guess what's inside. Every time I walk past it I'm tempted to pick it up and try to shake it, but it's so heavy I had to have help bringing it inside. I think there might be a sewing machine in there... hey, it could happen because I've been so good this year.

I had a surprise waiting for me at the post office! My package has been received And, as tempted as I was, I didn't peek at the customs sticker (although I really, really wanted to). The package is sitting on top of the piano, where I have it slightly hidden so I don't go peeking.

Thank you to my Secret Santa, really looking forward to opening the package!
