Donna, your snow woman is adorable. We'll all be chiming in for one.

Thanks girls, picking up an envelope today to get them in the mail. This is a fun swap, I like that all the blocks are the same size.

Oh I was all in a panic as I had signed up, but then my computer died and I thought I had missed the shipping deadline.

I finally got the computer back last night and see that I did not miss the deadline. I thought the blocks had to received by October 15th and there is no way I could get them in by Tuesday.

Now I can go through the whole thread and see what I have missed.

So many beautiful blocks. Yes I have an embroidery machine, but I am doing applique.

I am proud of the ones I have designed. I will post a photo later.

Just a heads up, I am a beginner and am making my blocks a big larger than required. I am appliqueing on a square and on my sample once I fused and stitched down the applique, the block had pulled in a bit.

I decided to start with a 13 inch square, which has worked. But at this point I have not trimmed to size. I do not feel confident enough to be sure I will not trim too much.

Please let me know if receiving a slightly oversized block will be an issue?

Yesterday was the first day since Wednesday that I FELT like leaving
home to go shopping.

I FINALLY found the fabric I was looking for at Joann's yesterday, so I
hope to get my blocks made and in the mail this time next weekend,
at least that is my goal.

So ditto that one. This way we can size it to our ruler.

I have not even started my blocks yet. I have some patterns I want to do, but to get them done, YIKES! Finishing up my boom blocks, two table runners, and a charity quilt. In between I will work on getting these done. Goodness, where does the time go, oh yeah, it is in the garden getting ready for winter, Lilac Princess stuff, quilt show demonstration, customer quilts, child injury, DH sickness, toothache, and boss injured with 50 hour work weeks. Hmmm, think I am to busy. life go away for awhile so i can have some fun. LOL

I am going to get my fabric washed today, so that I can start
working on my embroidery design. Now that I have FINALLY
found the design I want to make.

Who all here has an embroidery machine? I know there are a
couple as I seen some other snowmen stitched out. Just curious
as to who all does have a machine (of course I do. In fact I have two).

I was actually planning to make the same design. But so that there wouldn't
be an "overload" of the same design I chose to go with a different design.

Love how nice yours came out.
