This is for my daughter who is a freshman in college. (was supposed to be ready when she left in Sept.) If the colors are hard to see, they are shades of brown, pink, and red. How would you suggest I quilt it? And with what color thread? Would love your input. thank you.

I think this would be beautiful in a varigated pink thread and quilted only in the darker area around the hearts. (That is if the hearts are too big and require quilting)
Even a pink satin ribbon at the apex of the heart, tied in a bow would be really cute...

I would stipple around the hearts with either brown or red thread, then stitch in the ditch in the hearts themselves.

NICE! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Check out YouTube for stitching ideas. I came across this one and thought it would be beautiful surrounding the heart but I would prefer the stiching to be on a larger scale.

    Happy Quilting.

How about SID around the heart. I would use brown thread.

I would use brown or black thread. I think an overall design would be ok--maybe in hearts. Nice looking quilt.
