Love it, love it, love it - think the material was absolutely perfect for a stack and whack.

She lives in N.Y. and I live in WA, however, we both were born and raised in the Heartland..... Nebraska. Our mother (who now resides with the angels) grew blue morning glories at the base of her clothesline post & by the end of summer they would have climbed all the way to the top and each morning would bloom bright & cheery. Sunflowers grow abundantly in Nebraska - in many a roadside ditch, pasture, hillside & even an occasional farmer's field. When I saw the combination of both flowers in one fabric, I KNEW I had to make a Stack n' Whack quilt with it! It's my favorite pattern.

My hope is that when my sis looks at her quilt, it will bring back fond memories of her Nebraska childhood -- and our mom's love of flowers. By the way..... mom was a quilter ;)

    Thanks for looking,
I enjoy seeing all YOUR lovely photos!!
beautiful work, I am sure sure that your sister will love and cherish this wonderful peice of art
