Just wonderful. A great story to tell. I also really like the fan quilting motif. It is perfect with this period style quilt. Awesome!

Karen, your quilt is perfect! I love that you were able to do the hand-quilting for the antique fabrics. And what a great story of how this was made. You really do have a treasure there.

Plus, I'm so pleased that my information about uploading pictures worked for you and that you let me know I just knew I wanted to see your pictures!

What a great quilt and I sure do like the idea her daughter came up with........... Think she will be remembered by many who are using her fabric..... Will have to pass that idea on to my children.

Beautiful quilt and what a wonderful thing she did to have a party to thin out the fabrics. Smart girl, and a win win situation. Her mother would be happy with that decision

What a nice quilt/quilting. How nice of the daughter to share fabric from your friend. What good memories this quilt will have.
