I love this, in fact, I love everything about it.....the story, the fabrics, the wisdom of the daughter (she knew her mother would approve and appreciate), the pattern, the quilting, and you for taking the opportunity to make something very special. A wonderful tribute to a lady who loved fabrics so much so that she was on a lifetime mission to collect extraordinary ones. Thank you for sharing.

What an absolutely WONDERFUL thing to do with her mother's fabric!! Any what a beautiful job you did on both piecing and quilting!

So well said.....it is a delightful quilt pattern for the fabric and your quilting is so appropriate.....I can only give you a ton of kudos....

What a lovely quilt! I bet her mom would have been pleased to see her treasured fabrics made into quilts!
