Great! I'm so glad. Your Grandmother would have loved it in any case.

Pretty quilt, Grandma will love it! Color catcher sheets have always worked for me. I keep them on hand for all my accidents

I haven't been able to find them in Canada either. So on my first trip to the U.S.A. I bought some. I asked the ladies at the quilt guild where to get them & no one had even heard of them.

You can also try dabbing hydrogen peroxide on the spots and let it sit for a few minutes. Spots will often start to disappear if you let it sit.

You can also make your own oxiclean. There are several recipes on the internet if you google "make your own oxiclean". Here is one:

    Good luck.

I think if you just wash it again, it will come out.

I just recently had that same problem with a shirt I have. Some other piece of clothing left color all over it. I just rewashed it and it came out! Try that first and see what happens. Best of luck to you!

I'm so glad the marks came out. It's a beautiful quilt and I'm sure your grandmother will love it.

Phew....that was lucky. And a big lesson to prewash your fabrics in the future.

When my son washed his white bathroom rugs with red rugs from the other bathroom....his white rugs turned pink. He bought Rit Color Remover sheets, rewashed the pink rugs with the sheet and they were white again. This product really worked for him.

I went back and looked at the pictures again. To me it looks like it's part of the fabric.

We recommend Retayen to hold colors.
