Log cabin quilts always make wonderful gifts!
This first one I pieced back in 2003. Queen size [85x90] but shown across a full size bed. This was made for a dear friend that passed away just this year. :(
(Machine quilted by Joan Harrison of Burlington, Iowa)

The second [56x56] one was pieced in 2008, and was machine quilted by Ellen Bloomberg of Burlington, Iowa.

Beautiful quilts!! I have not made a log cabin yet. I have about 350 7 1/2" blocks that I just finished. Now I need to lay them out (ok maybe half of them) and figure out how I want to put them together.

    Wow!

As, I have said before, you do beautiful work. It's amazing how well you do. I only wish mine would turn out half, or might I say 1/4 as well.
