Default 3 year UFO/WIP finished!!!!!!

after working on this quilt off and on for 3 years, I forced myself to work on this until I finished it. I named it Hallelujah Point because I knew that's what I would be singing when it was completed. i also could've named it "Shoulda done this differently" no explanation needed!!. it's not perfect, but it's finished!
the center of the quilt was the only pattern I had and it was wall hanging size. I designed the rest and that is not really my talent. but all in all I'm OK with it.
the picture with a piece of fabric is what I used for the backing.

A very nice center and a great job making it larger. A welcome addition to any room.

I think that is really neat how you utilized the different landscape fabrics to really play out the theme of a lighthouse on a rocky jetty. Well done! I usually take a long time to complete projects too! 3 years is my normal. I finish stuff in between but most quilts take me several years to complete.

Well it looks really pretty, That is a good size quilt to work on.! I have a couple that are WIPs. DGD sent me a photo from a scene I believe from a video game. It's really cute but looks like it's going to be a lot of applique. Not sure how big it's going to be but hopefully no bigger than a wall hanging.

Doesn't it feel good to finish your WIP quilt, and wow, it's beautiful. How large is it? Looks pretty big.

That quilt is lovely. It would look good anywhere but especially fit in at a beach house.

It's really pretty. I didn't see anything obviously wrong with your pattern. I love all the colors. But you've obviously grown as a quilter since you started this project. Will look forward to seeing more of your projects.
