    You just can't get any prettier than a 9-patch. You can do so much with that little patch. Goodvjob,its lovely.

    I'm making the same quilt! I have made several from that book. I skipped the applique since I've not done it before and plan to use a border instead. I thought it would use up my scraps but I've still got plenty left.
