Rain, flooding and tornado watches in our area.

    We're just really wet.

    My pretty back deck view.....
a bit muddy and wet. Wonder where the cows are hiding?
We had to go to Knoxville yesterday and drove 20 mph for 65 miles on the interstate. The rain was the worst I've ever seen. Hope everyone stayed safe!

Coos Bay, OR is being told to expect 75+mph winds at the headlands tonight. We are inland just a few short miles so we might really get hit. Is supposed to come with a torrential downpour also. I am more than ready for summer!

Yes, we had a really quick storm last week. We got struck by lighting... we got out easy only lost a tv, dvr and the security system. The tv was almost 20 years old so I guess we got our monies worth out of it. The security system $50 ded., dvr insured throught directv. I had heard horror stories of losing all appliances, computers, phones, etc. The house a several acres over burned to the ground last year. Our guardian Angel was looking out for us.

I guess that I won't complain about our 10 to 20 degrees below zero, when we don't have to worry about tornados, snow falls of 15 inches, loss of power. I can dress for cold. Thinking about everyone with weather challenges out there. Stay safe and warm.

It has rained so much the last two days, I think being 350 foot above sea level may not be enough! You haven't seen any "Arks" have you?

I think I just saw one drift by our place......it is pouring outside. No wind yet like they predicted.

Oh my, our weather has just been cold until tonight, it is now raining but my sister left Phoenix day before yesterday in her motorhome traveling thru Texas and on to Tennessee. When I looked at the radar map everything looked fine. Hope everyone stays warm, dry and safe. My sister too!

Last Friday we had a very bad snow stormwith close to a foot of snow omn top of what we had to begin with.It closed schools in the area. We also had ice built up in the river that it caused flooding of the main street in town. Our school closed on Monday and Tuesdayof this week because of it.. We were the only school in our area to do so.
