Even more beautiful than the golf one! I love it. The addition of that ruffled islet trim is a super touch! I'd love to hand this one on a wall in my living room!!

I focus on the sun coming up starting a new day, new beginnings, new hope.

Very pretty. Serenity would be a perfect name, as some of the others. You are very talented.

There is no rick rack in this quilt. Perhaps you are looking at the lace?

Quite an ingenious use of that. Your use of metallic/holographic thread in the waves is also very effective (can't tell which from the photo). You really put a lot of thought and effort into this. Sorry, no ideas for a name label but I do love your quilt.
The breaking wave was created with a lace trim. I bet I searched JoAnns trims for at least 1/2 hour before I found just the right one! By that I mean, a lace trim without any definite "pattern" in it ... such as repeating hearts, flowers, etc. I inserted the trim in between two of the layered wave strips and secured it when I top stitched the turned edge of the bottom wave. Then I tacked down two sections of this foamy wave with some small hand stitches.

After much consideration, I have decided to title this art piece "The Guardian". Since the lighthouse is my distant focal point of this quilt, I researched synonyms and definitions for lighthouse. Through that research, I learned that lighthouses were a beacon of light and a guardian for sailors. Thanks, Red, for sharing your thoughts. And thanks to all who also contributed suggestion.
