phew this has been a close one, new granddaughter due to arrive tomorrow and only just finished this baby quilt. Got the pattern off the internet and the creator suggested it could be done in a day .... 3 months later and here we are! I'm afraid I chickened out of quilting the borders cos I am not very good at it and thought all mistakes would be very noticeable on the white fabric. Also I was wondering how I would quilt around the prairie points. I have quilted using stitch in ditch but was disappointed that I kept wandering out of ditch every time I went over a bump - and I had pressed seams flat as best as I could! Luckily it has wrinkled since being washed and therefore not quite so visible! All good experience, now on to the next project!!

 congrats all around. i would try making 2 simple curves crossing in the border. i'd mark the quilt first.
