    Had to go back and check your previous thread but you were right about the simple lines of the new quilting. It is amazing how the quilting can make or break the finished quilt. It looks fantastic with the modern simple lines.

    Looks really great with the straight lines. Your intuition was right on - curvy lines just didn't do it justice. Once you have worked with batiks, you don't want to go back, but I have a stash full of regular cottons that have to be used - sigh-h-h-h. I see one like this in my future. Perhaps my daughter will inherit all my regular cottons.
