Default "Beach Glass"

I named this quilt, "Beach Glass" - its a pattern from Block Magazine Late Summer issue - the quilt name is Tag Team. I used assorted 2 1/2" squares - mostly beach-y type theme. I pieced the backing and inserted a fat quarter that had come really cool affirmations printed throughout the fabric.
This was given to my friend for her baby boy due in October - the shower was today and we used the quilt as a signature quilt - all the attendees signed the quilt and added well wishes to the mom and baby. Of course, I made sure to bring the Micron pigment pens so it won't wash out. Turned out real nice and the new momma just cried when she saw it.

The quilt is lovely and I love the secondary star pattern.

Love the way you arranged the blocks. Glad to know how much your quilt was appreciated. You did a great job.

Terrific quilt! A fun scrappy, with great sentiment.

You done great on this quilt. Very boyish. I can see why she cried when she saw it. She will treasure it I am sure.
