    I would draw the face I want on paper, then transfer it to the quilt top & use a single thread of embroidery cotton to get a very fine look to match your very lovely work!

    I thought about this, but the fabric that I used for the body is fleece and it doesn't take the marking very well. The original instructions were for minkie. I didn't have any minkie and it would have been a week or two before I was able to get any. We live about 90 miles to the nearest place that would have it. Usually, I just order what I need online, but that takes time, too. You know, I doubt if minkie would have made a difference, in this case, either. Thank you all so much for you encouragement and help.

    As long as this is a wall handing I would use bits of felt glued on and keep these to a minimum
