Default Cars quilt for my youngest grandson

He picked out the cars fabric from my stash, and was with me in JoAnn's and picked out the checked fabric. Gigi had to pick the rest! Took me a long time to come up with a pattern. Thanks for looking!

It turned out pretty cool! I never would have thought of using the Rail Fence pattern this way. But, it is cute!

Black and white check always looks so good with cars. I made this quilt for charity:

That is so cute. I like the checkerboard black and white stitching--just like a race winners' flag.

Good job. You managed to get the checkered fabric lined up perfectly. Your DGS will love it.

Nothing like getting the grands involved in selection.

What a great choice that black and white checked fabric is to go with the cars.
