    Default A challenge quilt

A while back, a sweet member of the guild had to give up quilting. She gave each member a set of coordinated FQs. I had a window I wanted to cover, so I made this quilt. The green was from my stash. When I was done, I decided not to enter it into our quilt show because I was embarrassed by it. My DH demanded that I enter it. I did. It took a blue with a number of great comments from the judge.

The moral: don't put yourself down.

We are our worse critics on our own work. The green really makes the other colors pop. You choose a perfect color for this quilt.

The quilter who donated part of this fabric to you should be very pleased with the great work you did with it! And your husband has a good eye -- perhaps being a quilt judge is in his future!
