    Default Charlie Brown Halloween Quilt

Another mini Halloween quilt as a companion to the Mickey and Minnie quilt I finished earlier this week. This is a continuation of my FMQ practice. Was a bit nervous to quilt orange pumpkins on blue fabric but decided to go for it. What do you think of the orange thread on the blue background?

It does show up better than I could show in picture. Oh by the way, please disregard dog hair.

The orange thread on the blue fabric is spot on...great job with your free motion quilting. I have that same fabric with the great pumpkin words on it and made a table runner. You made a fun Halloween quilt! Thanks for the picture.

Great job on your quilting! Orange and blue are complementary colours and it works perfectly!

Your quilt brings back great memories of my childhood, as I loved to watch the "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" special, in the days before cable and the internet. It was a special treat. Love the pumpkin quilting on the border. Of course Blue and Orange go together. Those are the colors of the University of Illinois and of the Chicago Bears. Am I right?
