    I'm on a marathon trying to catch up on my BOM's. I'm three behind on my Checkerboard Flowers, but I finished one, and I'm halfway through the second. Here's the one I've finished. I'll post the others when they're finished too.

    I love it. Every one is prettier than the others -- not really. They are all so cheerful. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the rest.

    Oh what memories. Our LQS did that as a block of the month several years ago. I managed to get all the blocks done, except the center one. Quickly decided that I wouldn't be doing the checkerboard sashing. Still have all the blocks hanging in my closet. Enjoy the process.

    If you strip piece the checkerboards, they go together pretty fast. I just cut strips of dark and light and feed them under the needle one after the other, then cut the two-patches. If I had to sew all those little blocks together, it would drive me crazy. This way, I can do a border around a block in less than an hour.
