    Default Cherry Aprons

My aunt tasked me with quilting four quilts for her. This is the last of them. I struggled to come up with a way to quilt this because I had already quilted an apron quilt for her previously. This pattern screams modern vintage to me and the first quilt, because of that, was stitched in the ditch around the aprons with a clamshell background. I started out quilting this one by hand but the cherry pattern (finally chosen) did not lend itself well to being hand-quilted so I ripped that out and started over on the machine. Here is the final product and I must say machine quilting the cherries was definitely a much better way to go. Adds a little something without taking away from the aprons and pulls the cherry sashing into the rest of the quilt.

    🍒🍒 Enjoy! 🍒🍒
