    That is one awesome quilt! I have Christmas material and an instruction book for Bargello's. I just might have to try this.

    A smaill quilt like this doesn't take much fabric. You could probably do one this size with a couple of strips the width of the fabric.

    When I do small ones, I will do two sets of all the fabrics sewn in to panels. Press one set up, the other down. cut half of your sub cut from panel # 1 the other half from the other panel. When sewing the cuts together having one with the seams press up and the other down helps nest the seams together.
    Once the quilt is finished, I press all the last seams to one side.
