Default D9 Patch

A friend asked me to make a quilt for her daughter for Christmas. She wanted it done in neutral colors. So happy she likes it, because a had a hard time making a tone on tone quilt. Definitely out of my comfort zone.

Love it!
Subtle colourings like this are great.

Too often we get trapped that quilts need to be loud and proud, but far from it.
This one is a beauty ... well done!

The recipient sure looks pleased!

I would say she's more than happy with it. It's beautiful.

Oh...this is so pretty.... Soft subdued colors made pattern rock. Love it.

That turned out beautiful.
I was just thinking today about making a neutral quilt after having seen one at a quilt show. It would definitely be outside of my comfort zone. Maybe I'll start with a small crib quilt first. LOL
Yours turned out very nice.
