    Default Diagonal Disappearing 4 patch

This is a diagonal disappearing four patch, what a fun block to make. I was going to make this a smaller couch quilt but my DDIL saw it and loved it so it is now going to be a queen size with pillow shams as a Christmas gift. I've had to take the border off twice now, the first I didn't like and the last (I hope)
because I have to increase the size. Thanks to the person who designed this block.

Have not seen this variation before. How do you decide where to cut?

Cute! Good thing you had enough background fabric so you could enlarge it.

I'm fairly certain that's not the same block..... looks completely different than the one Mamia showed

I thought this looked like the same block as in the site that donnajean posted but it looks like the diagonal cuts were done differently ..... maybe measuring 2" from the seams rather than 2" from the corners as indicated in the blogpost. I could be wrong of course ... and it wouldn't be the first nor that last time.
