    Post Dog/cat pad

I made a dog/cat pad today. Have cut out another one same size and then a larger one. I got a very large linen new table cloth at the thrift shop for a $1. I am using it for backing on the pads. I used flannel that was on sale at Joann's for $2.99 yd. I have been talking about doing this in the past and this will be second batch I have done.

Is the tablecloth plastic backed? How did you finish the edges, pillowcase?

I want to make my two little dogs some pads for their night time crates, just not sure what fabric to use. I use old bath towels now. One dog pulls the string loops out and freezes if temp. gets below 70 or 75. The other dog, a 9-1/2 month old puppy gets warm when his hair grows out some.
