    I couldn't decide on a width for the first one--3" too narrow, 3.5" close, 4" too wide... so I cut 4.25" for a finished 3.75" Good grief. :roll: The second border was easier on me-it's cut at 2". Binding is cut--it'll be the green.

    Measures 84" square and man, this baby is square--the corners matched perfectly when I folded it up.
    Overall, I'm pleased.

    It is worth it to take the time. It makes for a better job. Now don't rush that binding..........

    This is an old post--the top is quilted and bound and sold!! Gaigai is the new owner. It'll be shipped to her soon. :-D

    Thanks! It's kind of fun to see this pop back up. There was a later post that showed the quilting.

    I called it "Garden Found."

    But I don't know what gaigai will call it.

    Oh, THAT's the one she bought. It's my FAVORITE quilt I have seen on this board, ever. It is so, so pretty. You did such a great job with tone, balance, color...all of it. You make it look easy. this is such a wonderful quilt!!
