This is my first EVER baby quilt or really quilt in general. This quilt is for a lady I work with who is going to be a grandmother to a little girl in September. Since the picture I ironed it good and actually quilted it by machine. I'm really nervous about posting my first pictures. Everyone on here is so much more talented than I am. But I am so addicted to sewing and making quilts. I'm learning alot from everybody's posts and pictures. My next project is making a wedding quilt for a girl that I know. Does anyone know where I ca find wedding material? Like with wedding cakes, bride and grooms, rings, or something of that nature?

She's decorating the babies room in chocolate and pink with Lady Bugs. So the pink with lady bugs and butterflies will match perfectly.

I used chocolate with pink poka dots as the backing.

JoAnn Fabrics had some with wedding motifs. I bought some and made pillowcases for my niece for her bridal shower.

I've looked at Joann's on the internet and saw a few wedding patterns. I need to go check at my local store to see what they have. Thanks!

Please don't feel embarrassed about showing your pictures. We ALL started - humbly...and learned over time. Yours is a darling quilt; love the colors. Am sure the new mother will be delighted!

You have no need to think your quilt isn't as good as anyone else's. I think it's lovely, and I'm a beginner too :)
