    Default first rag quilt

This is 40 blocks. Started with 10" squares. 3 layers with the top being cotton fabric and the other two flannel. For a great-nephew in the midwest. Backside is blue. My first rag quilt! Who knew they were so easy! Starting the 2nd one tomorrow. (next time I'll move the empty boxes before taking the picture.)

Great job, my friend! Doesn't it feel good to finish one?! Can't wait to see the other one. Those boys will love them and the fact that their aunt Julie made them just for them will be very special!
